Oversees the Human Resources activities of the company, including recruitment, screening, selection, retention, discipline, and termination.  Develops and implements company policies and philosophies.  Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.




Licenses and Certification:  PHR or SPHR certification preferred.


Education, Vocational Training, and Experience:  Master's degree in Human Resources or ten (10) equivalent years of experience in a multihospital system of similar size or larger.



Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 

Ability to work with other members of the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Ability to handle multiple assignments, balance priorities and made sound decisions.

Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, employees, supervisor and other hospital employees.



Lifting objects in excess of ten (10) pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to five (5) pounds.  Ability to stand on non-carpeted, composite surfaces for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, reach, use fine finger movement, speak and hear.  Ability to walk long distances on a regular basis.
